Over the past decade, my journey as a photographer has been an incredible odyssey, one deeply intertwined with the vibrant world of Lucha Libre. This unique wrestling style, originating in Mexico, has captivated both Mexican and British athletes alike. Throughout these ten years, I've become an integral part of this community, affectionately referring to them as my "Lucha Family." My lens has been my passport to the heart of this thrilling spectacle, capturing the intense moments, the electrifying moves, and the raw emotions that unfold in the squared circle. My photographs have been a testament to how these dedicated athletes have wholeheartedly embraced the rich tapestry of Mexican culture right here in the United Kingdom. As a Mexican documentarian in this foreign land, I've had the privilege of not only witnessing but also preserving the fusion of two worlds. Through my work, I hope to continue sharing this remarkable journey of lucha libre's evolution in the UK and the unbreakable bonds formed within my cherished lucha family.
